William King lives in Prague, Czech Republic with his lovely wife Radka and his sons Dan and William Karel. He has been a professional author and games developer for over a quarter of a century. He is the creator of Gotrek and Felix for Black Library. He is also the author of the World of Warcraft novel Illidan. Over a million of his books are in print in English.
He has been nominated for the David Gemmell Legend Award. His short fiction has appeared in Year's Best SF and Best of Interzone. He has twice won the Origins Awards For Game Design. His hobbies include role-playing games and MMOs as well as travel.

The story is composed mostly of two big action scenes, but they're great action scenes. There's less story in this book than in the previous two, but the action is really fun.However, the editing in this book (Kindle edition) was horrible. I don't mind a minor error every now and then, but there were often multiple errors on the same page, bad enough that I had to stop and read the sentence a few times because I couldn't understand it. Whenever that happened it pulled me out of the book, especially bad since the entire book is fast-paced action.
I still enjoyed the story, and I'm going to give book 4 a chance, but I really hope it has better editing.

The demon that killed his village
This is exactly what you expect a William King novel to be, a fast paced.. jump right into the fray, fun read.
I'm enjoying the Kormak character!
Kind of goes on and on but it's okay. Besides I like most things by William King. He can't write Gotrek and Felix quality books all the time.
Enjoyable easy fun read... Great for the summertime and a guilty pleasure. Kormak is a character that is worth pulling for!
Mr. King has produced another brilliant story of what is becoming a favorite character. In the tradition of Sword and Sorcery, Kormak faces off against a product of the Shadow. Mr. King delves into the elves of this world in this book along with expanding our knowledge of the Evil that Kormak is sworn to fight. The three books have each expanded the world of Kormak and made this series very enjoyable to me. I am again reminded of the books of R.E. Howard and Fritz Leiber. I highly recommend the Kormak series and if you want more of the villain the Terrarch Chronicles.My only complaint about Mr. King is that now that I have finished this book I will have to wait for another but that is a complaint I have with all my favorite authors.
Mr. King continues to exploit the opportunities provided by ePublishing to hammer the nail of Sword & Sorcery dead on the head. Not too long, not too short, WEAVER OF SHADOW moves!

William King mines the genre for all it's worth, producing gold. If you haven't treated yourself to Kormak, you should. It's some of the best new fantasy on the market.
I have enjoyed this series so far, and have been a fan of the author for quite some time. However the hundreds of glaring typos, wrong words, wrong tenses, and more made this work a chore to get through what would otherwise have been an enjoyable read. I would like to see some proofreading, not just a click on the spell check. That is just lazy and shows no respect for your time in creating the story, or the customers who purchase it. It is still a good story and I will buy the next one. Please just spend a little more time in proofreading.
